Law Squared opens new Brisbane office

Australia’s most innovative NewLaw firm, Law Squared, is taking the next step in its evolution as a business by today moving into their very own office in the heart of Brisbane.

Since launching in Brisbane in 2017, Law Squared has had its foundations in Brisbane co-working spaces from Gravity Co-Working, River City Labs and WeWork. Now with a team of 8 lawyers in Brisbane, it has taken the bold step to branch out into its own space and in doing so, have stamped their mark as major NewLaw player in the Brisbane legal market.

Law Squared founder, Demetrio Zema, is thrilled to have been able to make the move after four years on the ground in Brisbane.

“Our Brisbane office plays a crucial part in the success of the overall business, so it’s great to finally have our own space that we can grow into and continue to solidify our place in the market here in Brisbane,” Demetrio said.

“We have been on the lookout for the right space that our team could thrive in for a number of months now, so it’s great to finally have the keys today and for our team to begin to settle into the new space.”

Another contributing factor for the relocation has been the rapid growth of the Brisbane team over the past twelve months. In the space of twelve months, and through the middle of the pandemic, Law Squared has grown its Brisbane team from two lawyers to eight lawyers with two new additions also on the way in the coming months.

“We have done a mountain of work over the last five years to break into the Brisbane legal market and we are now starting to reap the rewards of our hard work, and we are attracting not only highly skilled lawyers, but also exceptional people to our firm who are aligned with how we operate culturally,” said Demetrio.

With a Brisbane office now completed, Law Squared is turning its attention to its Melbourne office, with an announcement expected to be made in the coming weeks.
