Dicky is part of the Disputes + Litigation team at Law Squared. He is an astute and experienced litigator with a particular interest in shareholder, insolvency and regulatory disputes. Since his admission in 2017, Dicky has practiced almost exclusively in commercial litigation. He has gained considerable experience across a broad range of commercial disputes ranging from contractual claims, insolvency and regulatory disputes, shareholder oppression claims and derivative actions, defamation proceedings and insurance disputes. He is well versed in running disputes in the majority of the state and federal Courts in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia.
Currently, Dicky is one of a select few lawyers to qualify as an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation (Vic).
As an accredited specialist, he is required to maintain a broad commercial litigation practice and he continues to do so at Law Squared. Having run numerous complex disputes to trial, he is well placed to advise clients on how best to approach litigation so that they can maximise their chances of obtaining a favourable outcome. He is a pragmatic lawyer who balances the commercial realities with the risk of litigation.
In addition to his practice, Dicky also sits on the Accredited Specialisation Committee and the Courts Practice Committee at the Law Institute of Victoria.
Outside of work, Dicky enjoys spending time with his family. He is a sports enthusiast who enjoys playing cricket during summer and snowboarding during winter.
