Outsourced In-House Counsel

From new market entrant entrants through to established businesses, LSaaS is the ideal solution for your growing legal needs. Our outsourced in-house counsel solution provides you with on-demand access to all of our legal teams through a dedicated Relationship Manager, at a fixed monthly cost.

Our LSaaS lawyers are ‘in-house specialists’ - experienced in-house and outsourcing lawyers who partner with you and your team to provide practical, business-focused legal support to help you achieve your commercial goals.

We seamlessly integrate our team into your business to support with day-to-day legal matters, while leveraging technology to increase efficiency and transparency of workflow and reporting, giving you clear, data-backed visibility of the value you’re getting.

What you get as an Outsource In-House Counsel client

    • Dedicated email address for matter intake (e.g. [email protected])

    • Comprehensive onboarding including workshops with key stakeholders in your business, review of your key documents and background materials

    • Regular telephone catch-up and WIP updates with Relationship Manager

    • Urgent matter turnaround time of 3 business days (unless otherwise agreed on a case-by-case basis).

  • BAU support (e.g. contract drafting, review and negotiation, conducting legal research to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, addressing ad-hoc business queries, high-level advice on trademark and other IP matters, high level regulatory compliance advice including Australian and GDPR privacy advice, marketing and advertising collateral reviews, creating and uplifting templates and policies, and training and supporting internal staff as required).

  • High-level advice on non-transactional corporate work, such as corporate governance and company secretarial matters

  • High-level advice on any stage of employment lifecycle.

  • Advice and guidance until proceedings are commenced, including Letters of Demand, etc.

*If there are matters that fall out of scope, we can provide you with a separate scope for additional fixed-fee assistance.

Why should you use Law Squared as a Service?

Our LSaaS model is an innovative alternative to hiring an in-house legal counsel. While creating an internal provides your business with a dedicated full-time legal resource, it limits the skillset available to you. You’ll still need to outsource to law firms when the matters fall outside of your employee’s area of practice or for overflow support, adding to the cost of an internal hire.

LSaaS offers smooth integration into your business and cost-effective access to subject matter experts, to manage day-to-day legal issues for your entire business. For a fixed monthly fee, you’ll have access to the skillsets and capabilities of all four of our legal teams rather than a single resource, with complete budget certainty.

Assembly Label

LSaaS Engagement: Delegate all legal matters to Law Squared, creating the time and headspace to focus on growing the business sustainably, confident that a true partner has Assembly Label’s best interests at heart. Starting with corporate structuring and strategic business set up in 2016, today, Law Squared continues to handle Assembly Label’s day-to-day legal support across.

Having a partner that lets us work towards efficient outcomes lets us then work on our own business objectives and have more time to work on the things that matter. At the end of the day, [LSaaS] is giving us more time.
