Maria is a Commercial Lawyer at Law Squared. She has a wealth of experience working in-house and is enthusiastic about collaborating with clients to achieve their business goals.
Before joining Law Squared, Maria worked in the corporate sector as a Quality and Risk Manager for a UK-based travel organisation and then qualified as a lawyer and began working in-house.
While studying, Maria worked in an intellectual property law firm and soon developed a keen interest in this area of law. Maria’s background has given her a thorough understanding of how businesses operate and the ability to provide balanced and practical legal advice.
Maria has experience in commercial law, intellectual property commercialisation and protection, property law and competition and consumer law. Maria has a keen interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Technology. Maria’s cross-industry, in-house experience is a valuable addition to the firm’s Law Squared as a Service (LSaaS) clients who receive on-demand access to all of Law Squared’s practice groups, at a fixed monthly cost.
Maria spends her free time with family and friends. She also loves keeping fit and spending time in nature either hiking through rainforests or swimming in the ocean. She loves travelling the globe and will take every opportunity to explore another exotic destination.
