Norm is part of the 2024 Graduate Lawyer Program at Law Squared who has recently completed the Juris Doctor at Monash University. Throughout 2024, he will undergo rotations in Commercial + Corporate, Disputes + Litigation and Employment + Workplace Relations.
Prior to a career in law, Norm worked in the technology space as a change management and communications professional. With a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, Norm ensured relevant departments were consulted and endorsed changes to facilitate the successful implementation of technology projects. Norm recognises the importance of a measured approach to change management, relying on building positive relationships and providing tools to support teams as they navigate through periods of uncertainty.
Norm’s expertise spans system implementations, migrations and feature enhancements for CRMs, Marketing Software and Application Tracking Systems. He also project managed the initial development of an in-house AI tool aimed at enhancing the identification of suitable lawyers on company databases for job vacancies. Norm has experience working for some well-known tech companies, as well as traditional companies and alternative law businesses with both local and global reach.
Outside of work, Norm has signed up to several fun runs this year as he tries to regain fitness lost during the transition to parent life. He enjoys both quiet time at home and socialising equally, embodying the characteristics of a true ambivert.
