Rachael Davidson

Rachael now primarily focuses on interim roles and is currently the interim General Counsel and Company Secretary at LifeArc, a charity that is self-funded and focuses on advancing unmet patient healthcare needs. Prior to LifeArc, Rachael was most recently the interim General Counsel and Company Secretary at CDP, a not for profit providing a global environmental disclosure system. Rachael also spent time at the National Grid in a range of roles. This included as General Counsel for Assurance, working closely with the board and audit committees with responsibility for no-financial support functions including legal, compliance, ethics and risk management. Rachael also supported the UK electricity and gas boards as their Company Secretary.
While at National Grid, Rachael acted as executive sponsor for National Grid’s work on wellbeing which includes sitting as a non- executive representative on the Government’s Thriving at Work Steering Group and the Business In the Community group for wellbeing. To support her interest in welling and mental health Rachael has also recently completed a Masters of Science in Neuroscience.
Rachael also has experience in other regulated industries including time at BT, Airwave and O2 and the oil and gas industries, providing legal support across the businesses with a specialism in supporting the sales functions, corporate structuring and regulatory support for these organisations.
Rachael hails originally from Australia and is a law and arts graduate qualified to practise law in the UK. Outside of work Rachael lives in the midlands, enjoys looking after her garden, walking the family dog and is married with two teenage children.
