Powering Australia’s Future:
The Critical Role of Landholder Engagement
Tuesday, 24 September, midday – 1pm
INVITATION-ONLY WEBCAST
Australia is on a mission – aiming to cut emissions by 43% by 2030 and to achieve net zero by 2050.
To get there, we need a massive scale up of renewable energy, and according to Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) in its recently released Integrated System Plan (ISP), building new transmission lines and distribution assets will be key. But while the technology and policy exist, landholder engagement is often addressed too late in the project lifecycle.
Join us for this very special, invitation-only webcast to discuss the critical pieces of the puzzle needing to progress and accelerate these projects of national significance.
Hosted by Law Squared, our panel of industry experts will share their views on:
The renewable energy project lifecycle;
Building community trust and commitment;
Risks and challenges for achieving Australia’s net zero targets;
Strategies to successfully engage with landholders and communities; and
Lessons learning from coal seam gas and other energy projects.
Please note - This is an invitation-only webcast and places are limited. Aimed at providing a positive, constructive space for those professionals interested and invested in the renewable energy space, request your invitation below.
