Sarah brings over 16 years of experience in Property and Infrastructure and is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Tenancy Law. A trusted advisor on complex property and infrastructure matters for large corporates, government entities and ASX-listed companies, Sarah brings deep industry insight and commercial nous to Energy + Infrastructure projects.
Sarah’s experience includes being a partner of law firms in both Melbourne and Brisbane, working across a range of complex property matters and mentoring the property teams. She loves and excels at being involved in the legal project planning and establishment stages, development and management of projects, document suite development and drafting and negotiating documents that represent all types of interests in land including licences, leases, options, and contracts of sale. Sarah’s goal is to understand what her clients want from their legal representative and then providing straightforward and commercial legal advice to them.
Sarah believes in striking the right balance between achieving commercial outcomes and helping clients understand the reality of risks. Sarah was drawn to Law Squared by its commitment to doing things differently and focus on the people involved in a legal matter rather than the billable hour.
Sarah’s biggest achievement in life is her two great kidlets and the home she has built with her husband and two rowdy dogs. Sarah loves to get stuck into DIY projects including renovating their family home. She acknowledges that she is a lawyer not a builder and this normally ends with calling in a professional to ‘fix’ these projects.
