Trent is the Chief Operating Officer at Law Squared.
He has played a pivotal role in Law Squared's impressive expansion over the past nine years, collaborating closely with Founder Demetrio Zema. He spearheads the development and implementation of the firm's strategic roadmap, aiming to establish Law Squared as a leading Global Professional Services firm by 2030. Trent is dedicated to enhancing the firm's capabilities, technologies and processes to meet future demands.
A true believer in keeping things simple, Trent’s manta of people, product and technology shines through at Law Squared. This strategic approach has led to the establishment of a Digital + Innovation function that has increased efficiencies for the firm’s business management practices, and now supports clients to optimise their own legal operations and technology.
Trent is also a champion for helping all employees (legal and non-legal) build rewarding and diverse career pathways that recognise their individuals’ strengths and motivations, and are aligned to the firm’s growth strategy. He has been instrumental in the recent overhaul of the firm’s professional development approach, such that our Learning + Development offering is now a true differentiator for top talent.
Outside of Law Squared Trent sits on the We Are Mobilse Board, an NFP which is on a mission to positively transform the lives of those facing homelessness across Australia, and also advises a Melbourne-based FinTech.
In his free time, Trent enjoys learning and experiencing new things, spending time with friends and family, and watching live sports.
