Tun was admitted to practice in 2015 and have since exclusively practiced as a corporate M&A, equity capital markets and funds lawyer. He prides himself on delivering legal advice efficiently by cutting out the legal “jargon”.
Tun is experienced in advising clients on private and public M&A, equity capital markets matters (including IPOs, secondary raising and ASX Listing Rules compliance), funds management matters, general corporate advisory (such as the Corporations Act compliance), shareholder matters (including corporate activism and shareholder disputes).
Over the years, he has advised clients from a range of industries including but not limited to funds management and financial services, energy and resources, technology (in particular fintech), media, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, and sports and recreation. Tun is committed to focus on the client’s strategic goals and act as a business partner rather than just a lawyer.
Prior to joining Law Squared, Tun was a Senior Legal Counsel (M&A) at a professional services firm, and before that, a Senior Associate at global firm, Squire Patton Boggs, in their Corporate practice group.
Outside of work, Tun enjoys spending quality time with his very “talkative” miniature schnauzer and his wife.
